Hello, Edison Community! Thank you for selecting me as your new superintendent and welcoming my wife, Tonia, and daughter, KaitlIn, to the district.
Are you counting down the days ‘til the first day of school? I sure am! These buildings are too quiet during these summer months but the hustle-n-bustle of the back-to-school busyness will bring back the business of an exciting, educational year for students and staff alike.
You are most welcome to see me anytime about any issue regarding Edison, or just to say “hello.”   I look forward to meeting all of you throughout the 2010-11 school year events.
Respectfully yours,

                                                                  Pat Bershinsky

We are missing three school calculators.  They are Texas Instruments model 84 Plus Silver Editions (TI-84 Plus Silver Edition).  The covers and backs on these are colored school bus yellow and etched with the school name on them.  This particular color can only be purchased by schools – hence the school bus yellow color.  They are not available to private citizens.  They were issued to students and then lost.  The cost for each one of these is $120. We issue them to the upper math classes because their graphing capability is necessary for the students, and we were trying to save you parents this expense (other school districts require students to provide their own calculators).  We do not give them to students nor do we sell them to students; there is no legitimate reason why a student should “own” one.  If you find one around the house, please drop it off at the school office .                                                                                                      Thank you.

                                                                                                                                                                                   Mr. Briggs

In a few days we will be starting a new year of learning. I am so excited to get back to school and see all of you. It appears the third grade may have three new students! Third-graders think about all the things you did over the summer. I would love it if you would draw a picture or write about one or several of them and bring it to school on August 17, the first day of school. We will be sharing our summer experiences with the class. Enjoy your last few days of summer vacation and get excited! We will be learning a lot of new things this year.
