The ground breaking ceremony was held on the last day of school, May 23, 2008.  Thank you to the board and the community for making it possible to have a new elementary building for our school district.  The student body and staff are very excited. 

Student council helped to organize and run the ceremony.  Along with board members one student from preschool through 5th grade, middle school and high school were chosen at random to shovel some dirt. 

Every elementary student was able to fill a small jar with dirt to have as a keepsake.  Balloons were released by elementary students as well.
